Phalaenopsis orchids are often regarded as the easiest orchids to look after and are perfect house plants for beginners and experts alike!
This variety is famous for its gorgeous colourful and fragrant flowers. Once flowering occurs, it produces yellow-to-white background flowers with horizontal dark-red patterns.
Phalaenopsis Nicole can be grow in both bright scattered light and in partial shade, but never in direct sunlight. They thrive in most normal household conditions.
Allow to dry out completely before re-watering, always water from the base or bottom water. Do not get water in the top or 'crown' of the orchid as this will rot the plant.
Seedlings are about 6 months out of the flask and growing on strong.
It may take them another season or so to bloom. To help with blooming, allow temperatures to drop slightly in winter, as they need a cooler period to initiate spikes.
