LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate), also known as hydro clay pebbles, is a lightweight, reusable growing medium ideal for hydroponics or improving drainage in soil mixes.
These inert clay pebbles provide excellent airflow and structural support, supporting strong, healthy root development. Compared to traditional soil-based media, they are less prone to pests and root diseases.
Clay pebbles are also known as clay balls, hydro balls, hydroton or LECA balls.

Tips & tricks
Before using LECA, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly until the water runs mostly clear to remove any clay dust. Avoid rinsing it in your sink, as this may cause clogs. For best results, soak the LECA in water for 24 hours before use.
