It helps to provide extra aeration and drainage to your mix, which helps to prevent excess moisture retention which can lead to all sorts of issues such as fungal build up and root rot.
Our evenly sized and light weight New Zealand Pinus Radiata Orchid Bark makes mixing it into your soil mix a breeze!
Fine Grade: Bark is approximately 3-9mm in size.
Medium Grade: Bark is approximately 8-20mm in size.
Chunky Grade: Bark is approximately 20-25mm in size.
Another benefit of orchid bark is its longevity! It takes a very long time to break down so it will last you longer.
It's well suited for all house plants and of course can be used on its own for your orchid collection!
