The Ficus Lyrata is probably one of the most well known & recognised house plants in the world!
They have deep green, paddle shaped leaves. If left to its own devices, these can grow huge! Or, if chopped, can become cute indoor trees!
General Care Guide
Lighting - Ficus prefer to be in a spot with bright to medium indirect light. They definitely prefer this over darker positions. Just be weary of direct light as this can burn the foliage.
Watering - They don't love having wet feet, we recommend letting them dry out at least 80% between waterings. Too much water can cause guttation and browning.
Soil - When it comes time to re-pot, use a well draining, all round soil mix, such as our GrowingGreen House Plant Mix.
Fertiliser - We recommend feeding every time you water using a fertiliser such as GT Foliage Focus to help your plant thrive!
